Homathko River

From AlanMacek.com Canyon

Homathko River is the main river at the head of Bute Inlet. It was heavily surveyed for the Canadian Pacific Railway during the 1870s (see Surveying). There were suggestions that the railway would continue along the shores of Bute Inlet and then between several islands to Vancouver Island. The headwaters of the Homathko River are in the Chilcotin plateau.
