Eagle Pass is a pass through the Gold Range of the Monashee Mountains. It was discovered in 1865 by Walter Moberly, who accurately predicted it would become the route of the Canadian Pacific Railway. Craigellachie, the location of the last spike, is located in Eagle Pass.
