Frank Leonard, "A Closed Book": The Canadian Pacific Railway Survey and North-Central British Columbia
- Western Geography, 12 (2002), pp. 163–184
- Department of History, Douglas College, New Westminster[1]
This is an article on the important information contained in the reports of the CPR surveys beyond the simplistic 'battle of the routes' and the building of the CPR. Leonard suggests that the information was used for the GTR railway construction of the 1910s and later road building in the province.
